Okay, so I listened to the book, have all the documentation and filled in all the questions….
I went to bed loving the idea of a 5 a.m. start ( no really ), though the 5 a.m. starts of the past meant a long commute and sitting in the office all day, in meetings, the the idea of a 5 a.m. start without that was awesome.
I woke up at 4.30 a.m., no alarm and contemplated how to get up without disturbing my wife Emma, at 4.59 a lovely cool breeze flowed through the open bedroom window and I was bolt alert – wide awake and ready to start day 1 of the Miracle Morning challenge…..

So I worked through my morning life SAVERS;
Silence, Affirmations, Visualisations, Exercise, Reading and Scribing…
I started with the Affirmations, provided by the Miracle Morning and felt good 🙂
I then Read all my answers to yesterday’s questions update where needed, in the following days I’ll read the books I have set aside for this –

I did some visualisation and in doing so I revisited my Ideal day that I wrote out 1st October 2014, I list it here as it is what I sat and visualised….
“My Ideal day;
It’s a Monday, the rest of the working world is waking to the start of the week, wishing the week away, hoping the next weekend comes around quickly, dreading the long commute to the boss they really hope is off today.
I awake at 6 a.m., to the sunrise feeling fully refreshed having slept well in our large comfy bed with soft Egyptian sheets.
I awake and hear the cat purring at my feet and can just hear the whicker of horses in their stables awaiting breakfast time.
I take a moment to be appreciative of my circumstances and imagine a great day ahead, I then spring out of bed, Kiss Emma my beautiful wife good morning.
I put on my soft wool dressing gown, slip on my comfy slippers and go to feed the cats, dogs, (might need my Wellington boots at this point) chickens, pigs, rare breeds, horses, their breakfast and return to Emma ( boots off of course I don’t want to mess up the lovely deep carpet with mud) with a cuppa tea (Yorkshire of course).
Maybe some Early morning delight!
Then Go muck out the Ggs ( horses) and go for a horse ride along the beach/trail with Emma, discussing the day ahead.
I Return and read emails and arrange calls, visits, flights and hotels for following days conferences and training days.
I Work using the latest technology, be it google glasses/ phone/ tablet/ laptop/ wearable technology (watch) or combination of.
I create my next money maker and set on auto pilot, just to be alerted when I need to communicate in person, where feasible I walk the dogs and work at same time ( voice dictation works wonders).
I Help newbies ( I dislike that word, make it students) in the training scheme(s) to get to the self sufficient state I’m in.
I have a Lunch date in the garden with Emma and enjoy the sunshine and eat fresh vegetables from our garden supply.
I have an Afternoon of leisure, may be take a spin in the car to the mountains / beach to get some clear air or watch the latest dressage prodigies practising in our sand arena or help the RD (riding for disabled ) group who are using our arena.
Back from my drive I update all the social media sites, answer mails that needed full attention.
In the Evening some calls and maybe a webinar before cooking a BBQ on the patio while watching the sun set with family (Brother, Sister, Mum & Dad, Niece and Nephews) and friends, drink juice / wine from own supply from the orchards / vineyards.
Watch a late film in the TV/Media room, and relax before going to tuck all the animals into bed, stop and wonder at the world while listening to the horses swishing their tails to beat off the fire flies while munching their hay, all content from a hard days grazing.
I Sleep like I have no worries ready to repeat the amazing experience of life.”
As I visualised this I compared it to where I was then in October 2014 to where I am today, 13th August 2015. And it was like someone had thrown a cold bucket of water over my head ( I’ve done that for a charity challenge) and woke me up…. I wrote in my journal ( A4 piece of paper, but I am replacing with a real leather journal 🙂 ) and that’s part of the Scribing part of the Miracle Morning;
Ouch – WTF – A wasp just attacked me mid typing !! right in the neck, painful and swelling up somewhat !! it was the last thing it ever did – who invented wasps and what good do they ever do ? [ something for another day ]….
I wrote in journal “Imagine starting out on a journey, a long one, say to climb Everest. You pack, prepare, fly, step, step by step, obstacle by obstacle and remember in your minds eye the goal. But forget to look up, step by step, you don’t look up, then someone points out that you are amongst the greats! You pause look up and see how far you’ve come and see so so so close your goal” I also typed up to my challenge friends “MM for me an awakening, a brief pause in the journey, to look behind and see how far I’ve come and to look up in awe at the goal so tantalisingly close, I trudged this past few weeks….now I stride towards my goal…I own this Life it’s mine….”

Just got a confirmation that my journal order from Amazon is on its way 🙂
After that I did my Head Space meditation, it’s just 10 minutes of guided meditation, 95% of it silent… I recommend it highly, I’m on day 18 and it’s getting easier to stop and do nothing for 10 minutes, of course a lot is going on in the head, but your body is still….. to get Head Space you can download an App or go to this web site https://www.headspace.com
I sat in the darkness at first and as I sat in the “listening to all around me phase“, the sun came up, I didn’t see it, as I had my eyes shut, but I heard a cocaphony of bird, cat & cow sounds, I noticed it last a minute at maximum, and then silence, total and utter silence ( I live in Tingewick a village off the main roads so silence can occur 🙂 )…. it was peaceful and amazing, nature welcomes each day with song, we welcome it with blaring Radio ‘n’, The News, The alarm clock, the commute…. I’m with nature on this one……
And then on to Exercise, I did my Pilates Plank and lift my free weights, I plan to do a workout and pilates mix with weights each day along with bike rides, walking, horse riding throughout the week…
Prior to the start of MM ( Miracle Morning) I followed through on the task of sending an email to friends and family, that email said the following and I’ve had some replies and thoughts already….
“It is Extremely important to me so I hope you can take the time to read and respond.
Each of you knows me well and I’m hoping you will give me honest feedback about my strengths and most importantly area’s for improvement…..
I feel that for me to grow and improve as a person I need to see how I am showing up to the people that mean the most to me – You….
In order to become the person I want and need to be, to contribute to this world something useful, I need to improve myself and I need your feedback….
So I am asking that you please take a few minutes and email me back what your think are my top 3 areas for improvement…….
If it would also make you feel better and it would certainly be great for my ego, please list 3 good things that I do or bring to you or others, that may be I don’t see myself….
Please don’t sugar coat it, I won’t be offended, the more truthful and brutal you are the better ….
If there is anything I can do to improve your life, our relationship please let me know too.

This is actually a really hard email for me to respond to, because I really don’t know you
at all, let alone ‘well enough’ to be able to contribute anything of worth to your
current cause ..
But .. if this helps – and I have no idea if it will, I feel, and have learnt that others feel too,
somewhat swamped when I receive or see, notification upon notification or update upon
update, in our media (social or business), from people or businesses.
On a personal level, when I see on twitter for example 20 tweets from you
about your business networking, or on linkedin, lots of posts and updates, one after the other
with no apparent pause for breath, I now tend to dismiss them all without reading any.
Which somewhat defeats the object for you.
In the world of business it’s very difficult to judge what is not enough – so you get forgotten
and what is too much – so you get ignored ..
I would tactfully suggest that you put up less tweets/updates/posts but make sure the
ones you do place have punch ..
This is not a criticism – more an observation that I hope will be helpful.
From the little I know and have experienced of you, you seem such a genuine and nice guy,
with a heart of gold and a lot of enthusiasm to ‘get it right’ – don’t spoil it all by saying too

(3) Change your goals from 10 apps to DEA sales – if you can make apps manifest, you sure can make DEA sales manifest. (I’m going to do the same for my goals).

All truthful replies, hard to take onboard, No, I really appreciate the feedback and will take ALL on board, to start with I’ve stopped BUFFER / SNIP.LY feed to Twitter, it’s automated and does the without a breath posting for me… and it’s not really content that I’ve specifically selected all the time…. so I’m picking it from now on….
I’ve reviewed my goals and I know that Visualisation works for me, I did that in last 90 days challenge and know it works;
Sting; I have had a dream / daydream thought that I’d hate to be stung in the neck by a bee / wasp, though always find Bees friendly, and here I am with a Wasp sting causing some discomfort; visualisation in the wrong direction! I must be careful to visualise the things I really want and need, not the fears !!

I typed into Whatsapp “I’ve disliked wasps always and have a scenario nightmare that been with me from a kid ( this is first sting ever ) when they chased you… This is it stung in neck ( u can imagine the childish images) but I see it as a sign ; leave behind those childish fantasies; do out and own your adult future with all your soul; I’m a mature charging Rhino….. You get the idea”…
